Gov. Bello condoles APC founding father in Kogi over wife’s death
Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi on Wednesday commiserated with one of the founding fathers of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state, Commodore Folusho Daniel (rtd) over the death of his wife, Abiodun Daniel.
Bello expressed shock over her “sudden demise”, describing her as a “virtuous, disciplined and dedicated woman who lived her life as a fulfilled teacher to shape the future of thousands of minds who passed through her”.
In a condolence message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Petra Onyegbule, in Lokoja, Bello urged the retired Commodore to “build the emotional strength to deal with the irreparable loss.
“We take solace in the fact that she lived a great life of Service to humanity and love to mankind.
“I urge the young generation girls to imbibe the sterling qualities of the departed Amazon who was a dove of peace”.
Mr Folusho Daniel was a former lawmaker in Kogi State House of Assembly, who represented Mopamuro Constituency from 2011 to 2015.
The death of his wife was announced in the early hour on Wednesday.
